Collector’s: Mark McGwire Gold Baseball Card Here we have a very nice Mark McGwire Gold Baseball Card in a Plastic Case when he hit the 70 Home Runs. On the front of the card it has Mark McGwire swinging his bat, it has his name at the bottom and at the top it has 70 home runs with McGwire and the number 25 on the back of his shirt, also at the bottom of the card it says PROMINT. On the back side of the card at the top it has a baseball with 70 and 9/27/98 wrote inside the baseball, on the other side at the top it says, Mark McGwire Belts Two Home Runs To Finish With 70, on the rest of the back it shows a baseball field with this wrote inside the field, On the last day of the year in the Cardinal’s home park of Bush Stadium. Mark McGwire blasted two home runs against the Montreal Expos to end the season with 70. McGwire homered in the 3rd inning off of Mike Thurman and then again in the 7th inning off Carl Pavano. With five home runs in his last 11 at bats, McGwire set a new record for most home runs per at bat with one home run for every 7.27 at bats. He also hit .299 and had 147 RBI for the year. This card is made in the USA and it comes in a cardboard folder, this card is in brand new and excellent condition. It would make a Great Gift for any Baseball Fan.
